Restaurant Equipment Repair Resources
Reference material to help organize a repair request: source-backed cost context and a service-call checklist and repair log you can print. This is reference reading, not a sales page.
Independent service-request website. Calls and forms may be shared with a third-party provider. The provider confirms availability, pricing, and service terms.
Commercial kitchen equipment repair cost
A provider’s quote may include a diagnostic or trip charge, labor, parts, travel, requested timing, permits, and return visits. The total changes with the equipment, confirmed failure scope, access, part availability, and whether the work crosses into fixed gas, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or refrigerant systems. This website does not publish a single Memphis average repair price because the available local wage data is not a restaurant-equipment invoice or contractor billing rate.
What published wage data does — and does not — tell you
The only local figures this site publishes today are federal wage benchmarks. BLS May 2025 Memphis OEWS (released July 10, 2026): $30.38 Memphis mean hourly employee wage for the broad installation, maintenance, and repair group; $30.44 national mean; $28.96 Memphis all-occupation mean; $33.54 national all-occupation mean.
These are broad occupational employee wages. They are not restaurant-equipment-specific, they are not technician invoices, they are not contractor billing rates, and they are not a local quote. A billed service rate reflects overhead, parts, travel, insurance, and margin that an hourly employee wage does not represent. For that reason this site does not publish an invented Memphis average repair price. The responding provider is the only source of an actual price for actual work.

Research and source-mapped data
The research section publishes structured reference data with the source attached to every record. The first dataset is a commercial kitchen equipment maintenance checklist with 98 source-mapped records — FDA Food Code intervals, Tennessee rule locators, manufacturer-specific schedules, OSHA work boundaries, and Shelby County permitting facts — plus CSV and JSON downloads. Unlike a generic task list, each record preserves the equipment scope, interval or trigger, responsible role, and the exact primary source it came from. The second dataset is a restaurant equipment lifespan chart with 49 source-specific service-life benchmarks (ASA, DOE FEMP, Texas TRM), a 17-record manufacturer warranty register (True, Hoshizaki, Hobart, Vulcan), and 11 coverage-gap comparisons, each traced to its primary document.
